Attorney Christian DeGuzman has been in private practice since 2009. He graduated summa cum laude from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia with a B.S. in 2004. He then attended Penn State University, State College, Pennsylvania where he earned his J.D. in 2008. Christian relocated to his home state of Virginia in 2009, and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in the same year. He is also a member of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Virginia. He focuses his law practice on consumer bankruptcy, immigration law, civil litigation, Social Security Disability, and family law.

Christian is a native of the Coastal Virginia area. He was born to Filipino and Italian first-generation immigrants  and attended Floyd E. Kellam High School in Virginia Beach.  He speaks fluent Spanish and Italian. In his spare time, Christian offers his legal services on a pro bono basis to low-income individuals and families across the Tidewater area. Christian is also an avid runner and coaches a Beach FC youth soccer team.
